| Choices.... Buying and/or Selling your home means making a lot of choices. Some choices are easy and some are a lot more difficult. Our TEAM of real estate professionals work with people, just like you, everyday and we provide guidance and suggestions to people looking for answers. The easy choices are, do you want 3 or 4 bedrooms. Do you want a den or office? How many square feet or living area do you desire? Do you prefer a formal dining area, an eat in kitchen, or both? It requires more consideration when you get to do you want a swimming pool and lanai? Do you want a 2 car garage or do you prefer a carport? Do you prefer a single family home or a condominium? Do you want to live in a large, mid-sized or small community? Do you want to live in a "planned community" where there is a golf course and a community swimming pool, planned activities through the homeowners association, and amenities like lawn care and cable TV? If you desire a waterfront home, do you prefer a river, a lake or living in a beachfront home? It is sometimes easier to write a list of activities you enjoy. Everything you did over the past year or two that you really enjoyed and would like to become more involved with. The next step is to study your list and mark priorities. If you really enjoy sunbathing on a white sand beach, then you should look at properties close to the beach. If you enjoy eating out at restaurants, going to the theatre to see off-Broadway productions and visiting museums... then you should rule out rural areas. Life and living is more fun when you can enjoy your surroundings. Some of the more difficult choices can be, what can I comfortably afford to spend on a new home? What kind of mortgage can I expect and what are the payments? I enjoy both golf and the beach, what is the best value for my money IF I have to choose one over the other? I don't enjoy yard work and the kids are all grown and moved out on their own, should I buy a house or a condominium and what are the advantages (and disadvantages) of each? Key Benefits
